What’s included in every session?

All sessions include professional shooting time, edited high-resolution images, an online gallery for downloading, and basic retouching. Commercial packages include licensing based on the project requirements.

How do I book a shoot?

You can book by filling out the contact form on khealanphotography.ca. Once details are confirmed, an invoice and session agreement are sent to finalize the booking. Alternatively you can send me a email khealanphotography@gmail.com

How far in advance should I book?

For commercial and event work, booking 2–4 weeks ahead ensures availability. Portrait sessions can usually be scheduled more flexibly depending on the season.

Do you require a deposit?

Commercial and event bookings require a 30% retainer to secure the date. Portrait bookings require a small retainer, with the remainder due on the day of the session.

How long does it take to receive images?

Standard turnaround is 7–14 days depending on the project. Commercial campaigns may take longer due to detailed retouching. Rush delivery is available as an add-on.

Do you travel outside Ottawa?

Yes. Travel outside Ottawa city limits is available and billed as mileage or a flat travel fee depending on distance.

Can I choose my final images?

Yes. You receive a proof gallery to select your favourites. Final chosen images are fully edited to match your brand or desired aesthetic.

Can you help with creative direction or styling?

Yes. Commercial shoots, campaigns, and editorial portraits often include creative planning, styling input, and guidance on mood, wardrobe, or set design.

How many photos will I get?

Each package specifies an image range. Additional photos can be purchased individually if you want more than what’s included.

Can I bring someone to my session?

Yes. Assistants, friends, or stylists are welcome, as long as it does not interfere with the session flow or location rules.

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor shoot?

Outdoor sessions can be rescheduled or moved to an indoor location. Indoor studio arrangements can also be recommended if needed.

Do you offer makeup or styling services?

These can be arranged on request. Rates depend on the stylist or makeup artist required for the project.
